EMU Rules: the Political and Economic Consequences of European Monetary Integration, [by] Torres, F., A. Verdun and H. Zimmerman
Baden-Baden: Nomos Verlagsgesellschaft, 2006
This book is a significantly revised version of the previous in-house (and non-commercial) publication. It was the announced intention of the editors to pursue their work on the topic and find a good commercial publisher for it. The volume has new papers (and a preface by Paul De Grauwe) and one entire section was cut; its coherence is substantially increased (authors had the time to take each others' contributions into account and to follow the suggestions of the editors and discussants); it has also been substantially updated and edited.

Governing EMU: Economic, Political, Legal and Historical Perspectives [by] Torres, F., A. Verdun, C. Zilioli and H. Zimmermann, Florence: EUI Press, 2004
See edited proceedings here , and the volume cover here .
The proceedings of the 2003 were published and presented less than one year later (during the alumni weekend) and constitute the first collaborative product of the alumni of the EUI in Florence, representing the four disciplines. The book was presented by the editors and commented by Erik Jones, The Johns Hopkins University, Bologna, followed by a panel discussion on the topic with the authors, discussants and EUI faculty and alumni and other guests. The session was chaired by Mike Artis.
