Short Biographical Sketch

Prof. Cooper joined the Institute in September 2009 from the University of Texas where he is the Fred Hofheinz Regents Professor of Economics.

He was previously Professor of Economics at Boston University, Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Iowa and Assistant Professor at Yale University. He is Fellow of the Econometric Society.

He has published in journals such as the American Economic Review, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of Political Economy.
