Seminars 2009-2010

The SPS teaching year is divided into three terms, running from October to Christmas, from January to Easter, and from after Easter until the end of June. Seminars in the Department take several forms.

In the first and second term, there are normally ten weekly meetings of two hours each. In the third term, there are (mainly, but not exclusively) intensive workshops/small conferences, usually of ten hours duration and often with visitors.

Please consult the Workshops and Conferences  pages for details of workshops and conferences taking place during the academic year. See also the section on Special Intensive Courses .

To register for a seminar listed below fill in the Seminar Registration Form  and send it to the secretary responsible, as indicated below or in the outline/syllabus. Alternatively, send an email to the organising secretary of the Seminar indicating: Seminar Title, Prof., Researcher Status (e.g. 1st Year SPS, Visiting Student, etc.), and Department.
