Biographical note 

Before his involvement in EUDO, Fabian was Research Associate with the Global Public Policy Institute in Berlin and a post-doctoral fellow in the European Foreign and Security Policy Studies Program offered by the Volkswagen Foundation, the Riksbankens Jubileumsfond and the Compagnia di San Paolo.

Fabian holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the European University Institute (with emphasis on European security and defence policy), and an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam.

He also studied political sciences, international relations and law at the Dresden University of Technology. He worked for GPPi Consulting and the press office of Javier Solana at Council of the European Union.

 

Research interests 

European integration and decision-making processes, European foreign and security policy, international organizations and security, German foreign and security policy, e-democracy and direct democracy.
