Regulation and Governance of Green Innovations in the European Electricity Industries

An important and pressing challenge for the European electricity industries is to increase the amount of electricity that is produced with renewable energy sources.

The liberalization of these industries alters how investments and innovations in the production of green electricity are made.

This research focuses on identifying the efficient governance structures for innovations in green electricity, and the role of regulation in stimulating these innovations.
