SHORT CV

 

Dr Riccardo Crescenzi, Laurea (Rome), MSc (LSE), Phd (Rome) is a  Jean Monnet Post-Doctoral Fellow at the European University Institute (Florence).  He was a visiting scholar at the London School of Economics and at the University of California, Los Angeles. Past research and academic awards include the Royal Geographical Society Best Master Dissertation Prize, the Italian Regional Science Association Prize “G.Leonardi” for the best PhD Dissertation and  the joint Italian National Accademia dei Lincei/British Academy for the Humanities and the Social Sciences research fellowship.

 

His research is focused on regional economic development and growth, innovation and EU development policies analysis. He has published in international  journals, such as Growth and Change, Regional Studies, The Journal of Economic Geography and The World Economy. Riccardo is part of the editorial board for the Italian economic development journal QA/Rivista dell’Associazione Rossi-Doria.
