Doctor in Political and Social Sciences, the European University Institute, Florence. PhD thesis focused on the emerging diplomatic elites in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. She studied previously at the Diplomatic Academy (Vienna), Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University (Bologna) and Central European University (Budapest). Professional experience includes collaboration with the European Commission in Brussels, the United Nations Office and the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe in Vienna, the World Bank project in Moldova, the National Bank of Moldova, etc. She speaks Russian, Romanian, English, Italian.
