Research project

Jenny Hansson’s project investigates how the life-to-work balance affects well-being and individual career/influence opportunities among National Parliamentarians, in a comparative perspective between Sweden and Germany. Based on a model (and pre-study) originally developed in her Master Thesis, Jenny Hansson has constructed her own survey questionnaire, tailored for country comparison between groups of political elites and currently applied to the total populations of Swedish and German parliamentarians. Her survey study is complemented by in-depth interviews with representatives of the two countries.
