Welcome to my personal webpage at the EUI server. My name is Wojtek (Wojciech) Tomaszewski and I was a PhD researcher in the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the European University Institute. In October 2009, I defended my thesis “Multidimensional Poverty and Social Exclusion in Europe: a Cross-National Perspective”, which was written under the supervision of Prof. Jaap Dronkers. The abstract can be found here.

Until November 2010, I worked at the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) in London, UK.

Since January 2011, I’ve been based at the Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR) of the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.

My research interests include poverty and social exclusion, the links between living conditions and well-being, as well as crime and risky behaviours. In addition, I’m interested in methods for quantitative research and applications of statistics in the social sciences.

Currently on the page you can find my CV and links to various papers and reports I co-authored. The page will be constantly updated, so please come back and check from time to time. If you’d like to contact me, please send an email to: wojciech.tomaszewski@eui.eu

Cheers,

Wojtek
