Bibliothèque Medem
Apart from being Europe's largest Yiddish Library the Medem Library in Paris also houses a number of archives.

Bibliothèque Nationale de France
Houses a number of Yiddish journals on microfilm.

University College London Library
Has a large collection of secondary literature relating to various aspects of Jewish history.

School of Oriental and African Studies (London) Library
Formerly home to an MA in Yiddish Studies program the library has a decent selection of Yiddish secondary literature.

International Institute for Social History - Yiddish collection
The IISH houses an important Yiddish collection dealing with Jews and the Left. For an inventory of the Bund archives, the most important part of the collection, go here.

Jewish Historical Institute Warsaw
Houses a number of archives relevant to Polish-Jewish history including many materials in Yiddish.

YIVO Institute for Jewish Research
The world's foremost Yiddish library and repository of archives dealing with Eastern European Jewish history. Part of the YIVO catalogue has been made available online recently. YIVO is partner in the Center for Jewish History. There is also an independent YIVO Argentine.

New York Public Library - The Dorot Jewish Division

Harvard College Library - Widener Library - Judaica collection
The Harvard College Library of Harvard University houses an extensive collection of Yiddish books as well as a huge collection of Yiddish newspapers from all over the world on microfilm. The library catalogue can be accessed here.

Brandeis University Libraries - Yiddish Studies Library Guide
The Judaica section of the Brandeis University Library houses a good selection of Yiddish materials. This is an introductory guide to Yiddish Studies on the library's website.

IDC - Publishers (Leiden, The Netherlands)
IDC has microfilmed a number of important archives related to Jewish Studies.These include:
- Bund Archive: Russian State Archive of Social and Political History (RGASPI), Moscow
- Birobidzhan collection: holdings from YIVO and National Library of Russia in St.-Petersburg
- Poalei Zion Archive: Russian State Archive of Social and Political History (RGASPI), Moscow
