Jørgen Bølstad
 
Short Biography
Jørgen Bølstad finished his PhD at the Department of Social and Political Science at the European University Institute (EUI) in July 2011. He is a post-doctoral researcher in European politics at the Center for Comparative and International Studies (CIS) at ETH Zurich as of October 2011. From 2007 until 2010, his work at the EUI was supported by a PhD grant from the Norwegian Research Council, while in 2010-2011 he was on leave as a Fulbright Fellow at the Department of Government, Harvard University. Apart from his PhD, he holds an MRes in Political Science from the EUI, an MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a BA in Political Science from the University of Oslo. In addition to receiving extensive methodological training at the above universities, he has attended the ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Research Methods at the University of Michigan.
