Wendy Robins
European University Institute I graduated from Cambridge in 1989 with a degree in Social and Political Science, having taken the first part of the tripos in History. After working in local government and the voluntary sector in London I moved to Brighton and completed my masters in Intellectual History at the University of Sussex in 1999. My dissertation title was: Catharine Macaulay, Rationality and a Female Historian. I then worked for several years at the University of Sussex in the School of Cognitive and Computing Science organizing conferences and undertaking project management. In 2005 I applied and was accepted at the European University Institute for the doctoral programme in History.
