Mathias Delori (Lyon, 1978) is a French political scientist and historian. He works currently as a CNRS researcher at the Centre Emile Durkheim, Bordeaux, France.

He earned his PhD in Political Science from the Université Pierre-Mendès France of Grenoble, in 2008. He was a Max Weber fellow in 2008-2009 and a postdoctoral fellow at the Université de Montréal in 2009-2010.

Mathias’ main research interests straddle the fields of History, International Relations, Policy Analysis, and the Epistemology of the Social Sciences.

In his PhD dissertation, he investigated the weight of memory in the creation and implementation of the Franco-German Youth Office, a post-World War II reconciliation policy between the two countries. Since then, he has continued to pursue an interdisciplinary approach to the role of memory in politics by investigating how national collective memory shape British, French and German security identities.

Apart his great interest in the Social Sciences, Mathias also enjoys studying monotheist theologies and playing sports.
