Posted on Friday 10th February 2012

The short movie ‘Fear Not. Speak up!’ was made by pupils of the 6th grade attending the 132nd Primary School  aided by their teachers. It was awarded this year at the Festival of Olympia by the Greek Ombudsman  for the Child. 180 students attend the 132nd school, 72% of which come from various countries and the rest from Greece, while the majority of all students are of low income families.

"What do I fear the most? What can I do about those fears of mine? What do I need the others do?" The movie is the result of 3 months’ workshops and talks about children’ fears and anxieties over their passage to high school, but also relate with current economic crisis and the social and family problems they daily face.
