The EUI has prepared a study on "How to maximise the influence of the European Parliament in the light of the Lisbon Treaty, in order to implement the Social Agenda and get the citizens closer to the EU". The study was commissioned by the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists & Democrats in the European Parliament, and was prepared under the direction of Bruno De Witte and Alexander H. Trechsel . The study was presented in Brussels on 14 April.
