Research Strands

In 2012 the GGP will further develop its academic pillar: four new research strands will be launched. Namely: Modes of Global Governance, Climate Policies, Development Policies and International Economic Law.

Each Research Strand will be directed by a professor, who will coordinate scientifically the related Executive Seminars, High Level Policy Seminars, Workshops and Conferences on the topics at steak.

It is now clear that the eurozone crisis will continue well into 2012, despite early February’s recovery in stock markets. Negotiations between Greece and the banks over Greek sovereign debt may yet be concluded, but sufficiently wide participation by banks in the deal remains very much in doubt.
