Katarzyna Gmaj

Ph.D. student at the Institute for Social Studies, Warsaw University. Received M.A. in Sociology from Warsaw University (2001) and in Culture Studies (Warsaw University, 1999).  Since 2001 has been collaborating with various NGOs, including the Institute of Public Affairs and the Centre for International Relations. Main interests include migration, ethnic and national minorities. In the period of 2005-2009 Ms. Gmaj worked on research projects within sixth and seventh framework programs of the European Commission, namely MIGSYS, CLANDESTINO and EMILIE. She published academic papers on migration.
