Miquel Reynes

Miquel Reynés has a degree (Licenciatura) in Political Science from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and has just completed PhD Studies in Sociology (Universidad Complutense de Madrid).

He has conducted fieldwork in Togo and Ghana to research into schooling patterns among Ewe and Asante families. His research interests include education policies, sociology of education in Africa, kinship, domestic and familial organization, immigration and qualitative methodology. He has prepared papers on these topics for several national and international conferences.
