THINK is an FP7-financed project that advises the European Commission (DG Energy) on a diverse set of energy policy topics from June 2010 until May 2013. In total, 12 reports have been produced over this period.
Each report went through the same three-step quality process, including:
- An Expert Hearing with the Industrial Council to test the robustness of the work;
- A meeting with the Scientific Council to scrutinize the first draft of the report;
- A Public Consultation.
The reports were led by a member of the Scientific Council, with two members acting as advisors, and with a permanent research team in Florence to support the process.
