Call for Papers – The Environment and European Public Sphere

The “Writing a New History of Europe” EHNE laboratoire d’excellence, the French-German network “Saisir l’Europe” and the German Historical Institute have launched a call for papers regarding their upcoming conference The Environment and European Public Sphere: Perception, Actors, Policies. 

The conference will take place in Paris from 18to 20 October 2017. It is part of a research project that uses environmental questions to explore the emergence of a European public sphere and its impact on defining European environmental policy since the 1970s.  

The deadline for papers (500 words) is on Saturday 15 April 2017.
