The President's Annual Report 2012 Now Online

The President’s Annual Report 2012 details a year full of activity and change for the EUI.

• Professor Marise Cremona was appointed as President ad interim in June 2012, following the departure of President José Borrell Fontelles. The next president, Dr. Joseph H.H. Weiler, who will take office September 2013, was appointed in December.
• 109 EUI researchers defended their doctoral dissertations in 2012.
• External funding for EUI research projects from EU and other public and private sources totaled more than €13.1 million in 2012.
• 2012 also saw the installation of the Historical Archives of the European Union in their new site at Villa Salviati.
