Postgraduate Research Grants

The Historical Archives of the European Union in collaboration with external partners offers Postgraduate Research Grants. The grant programmes are intended to enable researchers to broaden their research through access to the primary sources held at the HAEU and/or at the external partners’ archives or other collaborating parties.

Applicants should be preparing a thesis, dissertation or scholarly article, usually, in the lines of predetermined topic in any of the disciplines of human and social sciences. In the view of the nature of the files concerned, applicants should also have a sound knowledge of English and French.

All the grant programmes are different and have requisites so the applicants are advised to carefully go through the grant web pages to determine which one might be applicable for them.
