The Historical Archives hosts the European Students' Convention

esuThe 28th European Students' Convention, an event organised by The European Students’ Union, will in late September bring international guests to the Historical Archives to discuss about the developments in higher education In Europe.

“We are delighted to host the 28th European Students' Convention and welcome the representatives to Villa Salviati”, says Dieter Schlenker, Director for the Historical Archives.

The European Students' Convention brings together students’ representatives from the national unions of students from 39 different European countries with key stakeholders, experts and policy-makers. The aim is to create synergy by organising the event in Italy, currently holding the EU Presidency. 

The main topic of the European Students' Convention will be Student-Centred Learning, covering issues from the presidency priorities such as eLearning and internships and from the Bologna Process.

According to ESU’s website, the previous conventions have showed that they are an important and relevant contribution to higher education policies in Europe and a great meeting point for exchanging points of view between students, policy-makers and other stakeholders.
