Posted on 18 June 2015

The Historical Archives of the European Union and the EU Studies Working Group are organising a roundtable with Jacek Saryusz Wolski, Member of the European Parliament and Vice President of the European People's Party (EPP), on the subject: "Has the EU succeeded in its primary mission of securing peace?"

The roundtable will be held on Friday 26 June at Badia Fiesolana (Emeroteca room). The session will start at 2.00 pm and discussants will deal with assessing the European Neighbourhood Policy’s efficacy in securing peace in Europe in the light of recent developments in the Eastern Partnership countries.

The roundtable will begin with a keynote speech by Mr Saryusz Wolski, which will be then commented by Prof. Brigid Laffan (Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, Director), Prof. Ulrich Krotz (Europe in the World Programme, Director) and Prof. Christopher Hill (Cambridge University).
