Close sidebar News Archive » Page title auto-generated here Open sidebar menu Upcoming "Capitalism, Crises and European Integration: from 1945 to the present" conference Posted on 19 May 2016 The three-day conference is jointly organised by the Alcide De Gasperi Research Centre (EUI), the Department of History and Civilization (EUI), History of European Integration Research Society (HEIRS), Réseau International de Jeunes Chercheurs en Histoire de l'Intégration Européenne (RICHIE) and will take place from Thursday 26 May to Saturday 28 May. On Thursday 26 and Saturday 28 May the conference will be held at Teatro in Badia Fiesolana and on Friday 27 May at Alcide De Gasperi room in Villa Salviati. There will be two keynote lectures; one by Wolfgang Streeck from Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies and another by Bo Stråth from University of Helsinki. The conference will explore the interconnections between European integration and the history of capitalism and its crises, in an effort to highlight the shifting nature of the European integration process.
