Following a new transfer of 887 files from the Historical Archives of the European Parliament, inventories of fonds of the Common Assembly - AC (1952 - 1958) and the European Parliamentary Assembly before direct election PE0 (1958 -1979) have been completed.
The Parliament's sub-fonds of the governing bodies, with 161 files for the period 1952-1958 and 697 files for the period 1958-1979, and concerning the documents produced by the Bureau, the enlarged Bureau, working groups of the Bureau, the Presidential Committee and the College of Quaestors, are now available for research.
These records consist mainly of documents relating to the work of governing bodies, the minutes of their meetings and collection of notices to its Members.
In relation to the European Parliamentary Assembly before direct election PE0 (1958 -1979) fonds, 29 files reflecting the activity of the interparliamentary delegations and highlighting the role and visibility of the European Community worldwide have been transferred.
