Close sidebar News Archive » Page title auto-generated here Open sidebar menu New transfer from the Court of Justice Posted on 21 July 2017 The Historical Archives of the European Union (HAEU) received a new deposit from the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) on Wednesday 12 July 2017. This latest deposit follows the contract signed in July 2014 and governed by Council Regulation (EU) 2015/496 on the deposit of the historical archives of the European Union institutions at the HAEU/European University Institute in Florence. The deposit contained a total of 92 boxes (circa 50 linear meters) consisting of original paper files. 44 linear meters of these files are the Original Procedure Records from 1979 to 1982 that follow the recently inventoried CJEU procedure records from 1972-1978, and rest of the files are the Judgments and Orders from 1983 to 1985. After archival treatment, the new set of documents will be opened for consultation.
