Newspaper Indexes

For precise information on any of the news publications in the Library collection readers can use a number of indexes in different formats, print or electronic:

Printed indexes of individual newspapers . The Library tries to provide these indexes for the newspapers in the microfilm newspaper archives in as far as these exist.
Combined printed indexes of several newspapers . These indexes may also index papers which the Library does not hold.
CDROM "British Newspaper Index" is a combined electronic published from 1990 to 2000.

The printed indexes are housed in the Microforms Reading Room on the ground floor of the Library.
