vlex-logo 

vLex   - ebook records added to Catalogue

Details on over 1,900 individual ebooks in the vLex database have been added to the EUI Library Catalogue. With this latest enhancement, users can now search the Library Catalogue for ebooks in vLex  by author, title and year of publication.

vLex is a multilingual platform of legislation and case law from over 100 countries containing over 1,900 full-text ebooks and more than 3,000 full-text journals. It also includes an automatic translation tool and the interface is in 10 languages.

ProQuest 

Digital National Security Archive - DNSA 

EUI members now have access to DNSA through a subscription by the Historical Archives of the EU . DNSA is the most comprehensive set of declassified US government documents available, with 36 collections and over 80,000 documents indexed. Each collection covers the most critical world events, countries, and U.S. policy decisions from post World War II to the present.

Ulrichsweb 

Ulrichsweb 

Ulrichsweb is an authoritative database of bibliographic and publisher information for serial publications worldwide. In addition to basic publicaton information, Ulrichsweb lists sources of electronic access as well as indexing sources for individual titels. The database contains information on more than 300,000 periodicals.

Access to Ulrichsweb replaces the previously-subscribed ISSN Portal database.

Pravda 

Pravda Digital Archive  (East View)

EUI Library users now have electronic access to the complete digital archive of Pravda, starting with the first issue of 1912. The Pravda Digital Archive provides full page images and searching across the entire archive with a virtual Russian keyboard, if necessary.

Current years access to Pravda  (2010 to present) is also now available from East View. In the case of the current years' access, full-text is presented in HTML rather than page images.

ProQuest

New ProQuest platform for IBSS and PRISMA

ProQuest has launched a new database platform to host IBSS  and PRISMA . With the all-new ProQuest platform you can browse and search within or across IBSS and PRISMA, search specific document types, and set up personalized alerts and RSS feeds.

IBSS (International Bibliography of the Social Sciences)  contains more than 2 million bibliographic records from an international selection of journal articles, books, reviews and selected chapters, dating back to 1951. The publications (including over 2800 journals) cover the fields of economics, political science, sociology, and anthropology.

PRISMA (Publicaciones y Revistas Sociales y Humanísticas)  is a full-text database of scholarly journals in the social sciences and humanities for the interdisciplinary academic study of Hispanic and Latin America, and the Caribbean Basin.

Hague Academy of Collected Courses Online 

Hague Academy of Collected Courses Online / Recueil des Cours  - records added to Catalogue

Details on over 1,200 individual chapters from the Hague Academy Collected Courses (HACCO) / Recueil des Cours have been added to the EUI Library Catalogue. With this latest enhancement, users can now search the Library Catalogue for HACCO chapters  by author, chapter title, volume and year.

The Hague Academy of Collected Courses Online database includes the published lectures of the summer course taught every year at the Hague Academy of International Law in the areas of private and public international law. This publication in French and English started in 1923 and comprises now over 320 volumes of printed text.

Oxford Reports on International Law  - modules added

The EUI Library has acquired 3 additional modules of this online service, which brings together decisions on public international law from international courts and tribunals, domestic courts and ad hoc tribunals.

The new modules are:

  • International Criminal Law
  • International Human Rights Law
  • International Investment Claims

EUI members already have access to these modules:

  • International Law in Domestic Courts
  • International Courts of General Jurisdiction
