Trial to The Wellesley Index to Victorian Periodicals, 1824-1900

The EUI Library has activated trial access until 20 June 2010 to the following database: Wellesley Index to Victorian Periodicals, 1824-1900 

The Wellesley Index identifies the authors of articles within 45 major Victorian periodicals published between 1824 and 1900, and provides a bibliography for each contributor. The identification of these authors is of scholarly importance because the vast majority of articles pubished in Victorian periodicals were originally published anonymously, or under pseudonyms.
