Zotero  [zoh-TAIR-oh] is a free, easy-to-use Firefox extension to help you collect, manage, cite, and share research sources.

Zotero captures what is visible with the browser when doing research: full web pages, blogs, wikis, bibliographic information from multiple databases.

Installing Zotero 

To use Zotero you must first have Firefox installed (download the latest version of Firefox ). 

Once Firefox is installed, download the Zotero add-on by clicking on the button below:

get zotero

 

   

  • A dialog box will appear asking if you want to install the download
  • Click 'Install Now'
  • After installation restart Firefox
  • The 'Zotero' logo will appear in the status bar in the bottom right of the Firefox browser window
