 The Salzburg Seminar

The Salzburg Seminar offers a waiver of up to 75% on the Seminar's tuition costs for 2-3 EUI researchers a year.

The EUI covers travel costs as per standard EUI mission rules, and pays the remaining 25% of tuition costs.

Salvador de Madariaga Programme

The Spanish government has a grant programme for EUI (EU nationals) researchers whose doctoral research includes Spain from a comparative perspective.

Grants pay for researcher missions to Spain. Individual awards may also be used to buy research materials costing up to €600.

The annual deadline is in October and a general email is sent to researchers in September.

Paderewski Grants, Centrum Europejiskie Natolin 

The Centrum Europejskie Natolin  in Warsaw awards grants of up to € 2,000 to Ph.D. candidates at the EUI who are not Polish nationals, but whose doctoral research includes Polish topics in the context of EU policies and the process of European integration.
