Grant Information for Cyprus/Kypros

Candidates must be Cypriot citizens with permanent residence in Cypriot-controlled Cyprus.

Any degree must have been awarded by a registered private institution of tertiary education in Cyprus, with a programme of study accredited by SEKAP and recognised by KYSATS.

A degree awarded abroad must be from an institution recognised by the relevant national authorities.

If the applicant holds a degree awarded by a registered private institution of tertiary education in Cyprus, the programme of study of that institution must be educationally evaluated by SEKAP, the Council for Educational Evaluation / Accreditation of Programmes of Study (member of ENQA).

The title of study awarded must also be recognized by KYSATS

If the applicant holds a degree awarded by an institution abroad, the institution itself must be recognized by the relevant authorities of the country where it operates.
