How to Apply for the Doctoral Programme

The annual deadline for applications is 31 January.

Application Procedure

Grant Application

For countries where grant agreements are in place the application for admission to the EUI doctoral programme is automatically an application for a national grant.

Exceptions are as follows.  If you apply for a grant from one of these countries, your application to the EUI can ONLY be accepted if you apply also for the national grant by the deadline specified by the relevant grant authority. Click on the country link for further details.

Data Protection

The EUI uses a secure system to guarantee confidentiality and privacy of documents submitted on-line. Documents are kept for no more than two years and then automatically deleted. See the Data Protection policy in the page footer.
