Marie Curie Fellowships
The EUI (the Departments and the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies) acts as a host institution for Marie Curie Fellowships which are awarded by the European Commission.
The 2011 call for Marie Curie Fellowships has been published by the European Commission (FP7 PEOPLE), with a deadline of 11 August 2011.
The EUI organises a pre-selection with a deadline of 30 May. The application form has now been deactivated until the next call in 2012.
The EUI decides whether to accept the applicant and to support the application on the basis of an internal academic evaluation and the availability of suitable supervision. Priority is given to candidates whose profiles fit closely with existing interests and orientations at the EUI. The RSCAS gives priority to candidates whose research proposals fit well with one of the Centre’s core research themes
Candidates will be informed of the result of the EUI pre-selection by the end of June.
The Canon Foundation and the EUI jointly award one Canon Foundation Fellowship for post-doctoral research at the EUI.
The fellowship is open to candidates of Japanese nationality or permanent residents of Japan.
The annual deadline for applications is 15 September.
The Academy of Finland awards fellowships for post-doctoral research at the EUI.
The Academy takes into account the significance and impact of the research in terms of the Finnish society and business and industry. In principle, a project to be funded shall serve Finnish research and society or international collaboration.
