New cookie policy on EUI websites

Posted on 17 September 2015

In order to improve and strengthen data protection standards and privacy safeguards on the EUI Websites, we are about to implement a new policy for the control and management of third party services that are embedded on our websites and which might use cookies.

These services include products and providers which allow us to embed video recordings, provide live streaming, implement web forms and social media buttons, as well as marketing tools to promote the EUI’s main activities.

This new policy fully answers a growing demand for transparency and data protection on the web as well as more restrictive regulatory arrangements implemented at the European level which focus intensively on providing sufficient information and obtaining consent regarding cookies.

We will make a short presentation about this topic on 6 October in Teatro Badia Fiesolana @ 16.00, and we will be happy to answer all your questions about this and other data protection and ICT security issues on the EUI websites. In the meantime, please read a more detailed information about this topic.
