Configuring Windows MS Outlook 2003 or later for use with BPOS in Exchange Mode
If you use Microsoft Outlook 2003 or later for Windows, you can configure it for your EUI mail address via Sign In tool.
This guide applies to:

Personal Laptops [1]

EUI Windows-based office PCs and Laptops with Outlook (from step 8 onwards) [1]
Please Note: you can follow the documentation below starting from step 8 to set up additional Profiles (such as Project mailboxes, etc.) in your Outlook.

Click Run:

Click Next:

Accept the License Terms and click Next:

Leave the default options and click Next:

Click Install:
-
Click Finish.

If the
Sign-In tool does not already start automatically, open it by double-clicking its icon on your desktop:

For User name, enter your EUI E-mail address (firstname.lastname@eui.eu), NOT your EUI username!.
Click Sign in.
On this first access you should see the following window:

Click Continue.
The Sign-In tool will offer to configure Outlook for you:

Make sure that Internet Explorer, and of course Outlook, are closed and click Configure applications.
After a moment your screen should end up looking like this, with Microsoft Outlook starting up and a balloon at the lower right telling you that the configuration has been successful.
Opening Outlook via the Sign-In tool ensures that you will have all program functionalities available during your work.
If you need to set up additional Profiles (such as Project mailboxes, etc.), repeat the above procedure starting from step 8.
