Using BPOS WebMail

BPOS WebMail can be reached at https://mail.emea.microsoftonline.com .

After having changed your initial password  as instructed in the info-sheet you received with your Computing Account details (for new users) and/or as per instructions via mail (if you have been moved from the previous Postoffice system), you can access your mail via Web at the link given above.

 

You will be shown a login screen:

 

 

Enter your full EUI e-mail address and the new password you chose. 

If you are using a particularly slow connection, you may wish to take advantage of the "light" interface, which offers fewer features [1]  but is quicker in loading pages. In that case, click the appropriate box for the option.

Note that browsers other than Internet Explorer, such as Mozilla Firefox, offer only the "Light" client.

Click Log On to submit your authentication information.

The very first time you login you will see a second screen where you can select your language and time-zone preferences:

 

 

Make any desired changes and click OK. The WebMail interface will start.

Your preferences will remain across future WebMail sessions. If you don't set them at the first login or if you subsequently wish to change them, you can do this by going to Regional Settings from the Options menu (top right-hand of WebMail window).

 

 

[1]  Some of the features missing from the lightweight interface include:

• advanced view options, such as the preview pane;
• new mail notification;
• spell-checking;
• creation and management of server-based rules;
• calendar reminders.
