Office PCs are still being secured: please be aware that you may receive a system message informing you of an imminent reboot. Should this be the case, do NOT postpone it! ICT staff may visit you as well asking you either to turn on or reboot your PC in order to facilitate the process. You should back up your data and continue to do so at least on a daily basis. Be extra-cautious about clicking on links in e-mails and on webpages. For EUI Windows laptops or personal non-EUI devices using Windows, please ensure that the relevant Microsoft patches have been applied via Windows Update. You are advised to consult the Microsoft page https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/msrc/2017/05/12/customer-guidance-for-wannacrypt-attacks/. Should you need any further assistance, please contact the EUI Helpdesk at +39 055-4685-600 (ext. 2600).
