Using Image Resizer
All EUI Windows-based computers (both Research and Staff Configuration ) come with software that lets you resize images very quickly:
-
Right-click on the image you wish to resize.
-
Click Resize Pictures.

The new, resized image will be generated in the same folder.
Additional options can be set by clicking on the "Advanced >>" button and include:
-
Custom = custom width, in pixels (maintains aspect ratio)
-
Make pictures smaller but not larger = only resizes smaller (to avoid loss of quality)
-
Resize the original pictures (don't create copies) = does not create a new, resized image (caution: overwrites original!)
