IT User Support


Provide user support for the EUI IT infrastructure, which includes computer room/office PCs, EUI E-mail, standard software, networking and remote and parallel computing. Assistance can be sought via E-mail, telephone or in person. The IT User Support Offices are located in most EUI buildings and are staffed with IT technicians.

Which IT User Support Office Should I Contact? 

Offers support for personal laptops with Windows, Mac or Ubuntu Operating System and SmartPhones with Android, Windows Mobile, iOS (iPhone) and BlackBerries. Mainly provide assistance with WiFi, VPN remote connection, connecting to network printers and accessing personal storage. Support is provided via E-mail or from the dedicated service points.

Assists with all internal telephones, fax machines and EUI-issued BlackBerries and Mobile Internet Dongles.

Assists with use of research software at the Institute. Tutors are current researchers at the EUI who support software such as MatLab, Stata, etc., and remote and parellel computing facilities. Appointments and requests for support can be made via E-mail.

Non-ICT Service Support (Logistics Service)

Some facilitis are not provided and managed by the ICT Service and support should be seeked accordingly:

Provides assistance for all Multifunction Network Printers, RICOH office printers at the EUI and print quota.
