High School

 

'Scuola superiore' or 'liceo' is for children aged 13–18 years and is the equivalent of secondary school, technical school, vocational school, grades 9–13.

Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m.–14.00 p.m.

Licei are classical, linguistic, scientific, artistic.

Istituti technici are for commerce, accounting, surveying, teacher training.

Schools for hotel management and some trades.

Registration is 15–25 January for the following school year which lasts from mid-September to early June.

Provide the child’s birth certificate and a vaccinations certificate translated and authenticated by the Italian Embassy/Consulate in the child’s country of origin.

For a non-Italian child you must supply a school certificate, giving the curriculum followed, translated and authenticated by the Italian Embassy/Consulate in the child’s country of origin.
