Public Preschool

 

'Scuola materna' is for children aged 3–6 years and is the equivalent of pre-school, junior and senior kindergarten, half-time or full-time, Monday to Friday.

Registration is usually 15–25 January for the following school year.

You must provide the child’s birth certificate and a certificate of vaccinations translated and authenticated by the Italian Embassy or consulate in the child’s country of origin.

The school year runs from around mid-September until the end of June.
