he Real Estate and Facilities Service manages the overall infrastructure of the EUI Campus. It operates and maintains all of the Institute's buildings and their services, developing them and implementing plans for sustainable growth.
In addition to long-term strategies, the staff also respond to frequent internal requests to optimise the space available on campus by organising meeting and seminar rooms, and furniture and office materials.
The service plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of the EUI, managing canteens, the crèche, housing service, postal service, welcome service, ordinary maintenance and site security. Other areas which come under the remit of the Real Estate and Facilities Service are the central filing and protocol office, document reproduction and printing, environmental services, the purchase office and translation work.
Campus Move 2016
In order to share information within the EUI Community about the implementation of the 2016 Allocation Plan, a section of the REFS website will be specifically dedicated to this project, with a detailed description of major interventions, movings, buildings maps and updated time schedule.
