Multifunction Network Printers

The Logistics Service is in charge of managing the three printing sectors: the Institute’s print-shop, the multi-function service (printers – fax – photocopiers) and local printers.

With regard to the multi-function sector, thanks to the innovations introduced by the last tender, any user with a valid IUE account, can collect their printouts after authentication from any machines installed in one of 12 EUI buildings. This system also ensures complete privacy because only after authentication the user can only pick up their printouts after swiping their badge.

For external visitors who use the library and do not have a valid EUI account is available on the ground floor next to the reception a  multifunction machine. It can be used with a rechargeable card which can be purchased from the vending machine located near the multifunction machine or at the EUI shop.

Technical Support:

Technical assistance for local printers and multifunction, is provided by a technician who is always available from 8:30 to 17:30 on all days when the EUI is open – phone 2222 – mail:

printsupport@eui.eu

The technician is responsible for the working of all Ricoh machines installed on the EUI premises, including the supply of consumables (except paper), the allocation of printing rights and print credits. Print support will diagnose and attempt to resolve any problems related to printing if the problem diagnosed depends on PC software or the network, users will be redirected to IT user support.
