Patrimonial Service

The Service is responsible for the preservation of the historical buildings and the development of the EUI campus, and for the overall maintenance of all EUI premises

 

Preservation of the historical buildings and development of the EUI campus includes:

  • overall restoration  
  • planning and financing infrastructure
  • maintaining relations with the Italian government and territorial authorities regarding the Headquarter Agreement
  • coordinating the restoration and refurbishment of Villa Salviati, the future seat of the Historical Archives of the European Union, together with the Italian authorities
  • overseeing the project to build researcher residences together with the Italian Works Authority

 

Maintenance of EUI premises includes:

  • management of air conditioning and heating systems
  • electric and plumbing works
  • painting works
  • smith and carpenter works
  • maintenance of gardens and parks
  • building works
  • handling of EUI vehicles
