Dates:
  • Mon 19 Jun 2017 12.30 - 14.00
Add to Calendar 2017-06-19 12:30 2017-06-19 14:00 Europe/Paris The Future of US-EU Relations under the Trump Administration by Anthony Gardner

Fortunately, the Trump Administration has walked back some of initial hostility to the European Union; the risk of the US overtly seeking to undermine the EU has receded. Yet, this administration approaches the EU from a perspective that is very different from that of any prior administration. Risks remain as to where and how the transatlantic partnership can thrive at a time when it has never been so important.

Anthony Gardner, former Ambassador of the United States to the European Union, analyses the future of US-EU relations under the Trump administration.

Sandwiches will be served during the luncheon seminar. Please register.
