Peter Lindseth is the Olimpiad S. Ioffe Professor of International and Comparative Law at the University of Connecticut School of Law and his research focuses on the relationship between public law and the nation-state in Western Europe and North America, primarily in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. He will be presenting his latest book 'Power and Legitimacy: Reconciling Europe and the Nation-State' and the seminar will be chaired by Turkuler Isiksel and the discussants will be Prof. Stefano Bartolini, Prof. Bruno de Witte and Prof. Adrienne Héritier.
