The focus of this academic conference will be on tribes and the role they have played in social and political developments in Libya since 2011.
It will pursue two main goals: contribute to academic research on Libya, a country that has been largely unexplored and under-studied, even after the war; provide analysis that might be relevant for political actors and policy-makers inside and outside Libya.
