Workshop organised by EUI Professor Özlem Bedre Defolie, in the context of the ERC-funded project Digital Platforms: Pricing, Variety and Quality Provision - DIPVAR.
The workshop puts together most recent developments in the economics of digital markets, competition and regulation. In particular it focuses on digital platforms’ business models, strategies, how these affect users of these platforms, quality, variety and prices offered on these platforms. It also investigates recent competition and regulation issues, and the implications of potential policy interventions on digital markets governed by dominant gatekeeper digital platforms.
